[CS] Less is More

absolute bottle

Sometime ago I talked about infoxication and suggested some kind of massive unfeeding ( I know this term is totally made up): we should be careful with things we read and with authorized information interpreters of us.

In this case it was true: less is more. The less noise between you and the original source of information, the faster you considerate it (or not) and the higher quality communication is.

But, there are some other samples of this simple rule. Here we can see “absolute naked” bottle for “absolute” and no labeling (but labeled) audience: LGTB people.

How do they do it? Removing every unnecessary concept, label, word, phrase or term that segregate and disturb attention and messaging.

Do they got it? I think is a good habit to think about how many things no need to be told explicitly.

We can apply this idea into Content Strategy too, refining the process by deleting any track of excessive text that does not improve the global message by itself.
